WHY MANGROVE?

We have just entered the Decisive Decade.

The actions we take today, both as individuals and businesses, will determine:

  • The way our global economy will run

  • The way we will work, play and live as global citizens

  • The world that we will leave for our future generation

Mangrove Global was founded today, for tomorrow.

We believe that a combination of the power of human innovation and the value of strategic actions will allow us not just to navigate the Decisive Decade, but to create an equitable, sustainable and prosperous tomorrow.

We work alongside businesses, from taking the first step to complete business transformation, providing strategic and tactical solutions when building for tomorrow.

HOW WE WORK

The “PDCA” 4-step flywheel is an iterative design and management methodology that we utilise to empower our clients to achieve sustainable shareholder and stakeholder value.

  • Working with businesses to identify current problems and future opportunities to formulate tangible change objectives.

  • Enabling businesses to take incremental steps towards their desired outcome through rapid and small-scale testing driven by data analysis.

  • Evaluating and reviewing data gathered to identify and provide actionable process improvements.

  • Working towards scaling successful solutions while reviewing and identifying future opportunities.

Our Service Areas

Preparation of Sustainability Reports

We work with our clients to produce sustainability reports to meet their specific needs. Our experiences in Sustainability Reporting includes helping publicly-listed companies in their reporting requirements to Singapore Exchange (SGX) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKSE) as part of their compliance and reporting requirements.

We also work with privately-held companies in their preparation of their Sustainability Report to better communicate their sustainability performance to stakeholders, including customers, employees and investors.

Sustainability Reports are typically written in accordance to internationally recognised frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and comprise the following sections:

  • Scope of disclosures,

  • Message from Board of Directors or senior management,

  • Sustainability strategy,

  • Materiality analysis,

  • Governance structure,

  • Policies, actions and reporting of sustainability indicators across ESG domains

In addition to the above, we work with companies to keep abreast of the latest Sustainability Reporting requirements. Most notably was the recent inclusion of the requirement to provide climate-related disclosures in alignment with the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).

Sustainability Ratings Advisory

Globally, an increasing number of companies have been requested by their customers, investors and bankers to be assessed for their sustainability performance. These assessments are typically performed by third party sustainability ratings agencies, such as EcoVadis.

We work with our clients in their preparation for sustainability ratings assessment, in terms of formulating policies (commitments and targets), and identifying which are the best initiatives to implement, and tracking the outcome of sustainability metrics.

Sustainability Strategy and Implementation Advisory

More and more businesses are beginning to understand how sustainability is now a real business imperative.

For example, having a sound sustainability strategy and implementation can:

  • Increase sales revenue,

  • Lower operating expenses,

  • Reduce reputational risk,

  • Enhance resiliency across the entire business value chain.

We work with our clients to identify which are the sustainability factors which matters most to their business through our strategy framework, guide them on setting realistic yet ambitious sustainability targets that drive long-term value to their business.

Corporate Training

Our corporate trainings provided are designed to educate our clients’ organisation from across all business functions on practical sustainability knowledge.

We also conduct corporate trainings for our clients’ suppliers, as part of sustainable procurement and supplier engagement strategy and implementation advisory work we do.
